Sosnówka offers guests a range of facilities and allows
them to actively spend time outdoors.
A pond
A water tank on the far end of the plot
– an ideal place for reading books, relaxing
on deckchairs or sunbathing on sunny days.
This side of the yard will, without doubt,
also attract fans of fishing.
Wooden swings
A large one, big enough to seat three people, and a smaller one, created with the little guests of Sosnówka in mind.
Colourful deckchairs
Colourful deckchairs are our guests’ favourite
in summer. Perfect for sunbathing or relaxing outdoors.
Two firepits
Enjoy a bonfire under a star-studded sky
and create unforgettable memories at either
of our two firepits. There is one near the pond and another one near the house.
A lot of space
the house is situated on a hectare (2.5-acre) plot. Part of the land is occupied by a pine forest
and the rest is an open area with enough free space to play football, practise yoga, play tag with your kids or enjoy beautiful weather in countless other ways. More about attractions for the youngest guests can be found here.
A volleyball court
On the large plot of land next to the house,
you will find professional volleyball equipment
– perfect for warm days.
A hammock
A great place for a moment of relaxation or even a short nap among trees.
Barbecue equipment
There are two barbecues available to guests. Dinner on our cosy terrace among trees
is a great plan for a successful evening.
Surrounding Areas
Sosnówka is surrounded by green forests, vast fields and colourful meadows
of Puszcza Kurpiowska. The beautiful views, contact with nature and peace create perfect conditions for a respite from daily stresses. All this makes you want to stay in Sosnówka for as long as possible.
Not far from the holiday home flows the River Pisa. Its stunning and clean bank is a fantastic place for a walk, a rest or for fishing. Both tourists
and natives love the local sunsets, especially
on warm evenings.
Our guests consider the forest around Sosnówka
a very valuable feature. Its green trails are the ideal place for a moment of reflection, walking, jogging or cycling.
Amateurs of mushroom hunting will be delighted with explosions of mushrooms on rainy days.
Just outside the gate to the property, you will also find an abundance of blueberries! Thanks to the wild, undiscovered nature, fans of delicious forest food can count on substantial and tasty harvests.
Nature reserves
For all who value the beauty of the natural environment,
Puszcza Kurpiowska is a must-see on the map of Poland.
The area around Sosnówka is covered by the Natura 2000 programme which protects intact and unspoiled areas of Poland.
One of the most notable places in the local area is the extremely charming, 3.5-hectare (8.6-acre) Kurpie Open-Air Museum in Nowogród
(Polish: Skansen Kurpiowski w Nowogrodzie) dedicated to the history, culture and traditions of the Kurpie region. The museum is located on the bank
of the River Narew. Why not arrange a picnic with a spectacular view while you are here?
In addition to that, there are also beautiful forest nature reserves
in Puszcza Kurpiowska, such as Czarnia and Kaniston, where you can admire numerous natural monuments, a very rich and diverse flora and over
two-hundred-year-old trees. These areas captivate with their naturalness
and peacefulness. You are guaranteed a fantastic break from your daily routine:)
Kayaks
Sosnówka is located in the vicinity of the rivers Pisa and Narew. This location creates great conditions for kayaking. This is also in our offer.
If you wish to do kayaking, please let us know in advance.
Children’s Facilities
Sosnówka has entertainment for the youngest guests, too.
With children in mind, we have prepared many attractions, including:
A sandpit
Our handmade, colourful sandpit is a paradise for small explorers. Its location allows parents to watch their little ones while drinking coffee on the terrace
as well as while resting in front of the house.
Swings
Also made by hand; the larger version will hold three people at the same time and the smaller one is its faster, one-man equivalent.
A mini-library
A facility for both children and adults where you can find interesting books
and board games. Even a cold evening does not sound bad when you can lounge in front of a fire with a good book and a hot cup of tea:)
Lots of space
The size of our plot (which you can read about here) allows for a wide range
of fun activities for the youngest. Children love spending time here, playing badminton, frisbee, football and volleyball.
